Default P0157 and P0161 Problems

A few days ago... my SES light popped and I noticed that when pulling up to a stop light (esp. with the AC on) my idle would drop down to 400 or 500 rpms for a couple seconds then come back up. I've known there to be a problem with the secondary O2 in bank 2 for a long time, just ignored it since I believe a secondary 02 has no bearing on engine function.
But if that's the case, why is my engine dying down like that? I could be wrong, but I think I've felt a little hesitation around 2k RPMs, too. Could those two codes take it out of closed loop? I wouldn't think they would, but I'm far from an expert on this one.
I had it scanned at autozone, p0157 and p0161 (both related to oxygen sensor 2 in bank 2) were the only DTCs. Any help here would be much appreciated.

BTW... this is a 190k mile motor, and hardly anything has been replaced.

To clarify a couple things...

P0157: low input voltage from secondary 02 in bank 2
P0161: heater circuit malfunction in secondary 02 in bank 2

This is not a clutch disengagement problem, that was the first thing I checked.

Sounds like it could be a wiring/connector issue to me. I'd swap the rear 02s from side to side and see if the codes move to bank 1.

Well, I'll probably just have the secondaries tuned out... but my real question is...

How could this have any effect on the idle? or hesitation?

Is it throwing it into open loop? If so, will tuning the secondaries out fix my problem?

Noone? I'm just worried that somethings going wrong that the PCM isn't picking up. I have no idea what could cause the idle to stumble like that.

Bump for good luck... I'm still clueless on this one.

Talked to a tech at the local dealer today, not the smartest guy, but he said something about it making the readiness board incomplete. I tried to get a version in English, and he said basically, even though it should have no real impact on engine function, it throws it into open loop, and could easily cause all of my idling and hesitation problems.

My fix... screw the secondary O2's. Going to G-Force next week for a full dyno, speedo recal, and rear 02 delete. Can't wait to see what it pulls at 193k miles... hahaha.
