SLP Diablo
Once you do the cam, take the car to a CMR dealer and they can create a custom tune for you on the dyno to dial in the combo perfectly.
i have a 1999 SS...mods are LID, K&N filer, smooth bellows, 85 MM MAF, LT's, LM cat back, high flow cats, all SLP stuff, plus I removed the AIR system. I bought SLP's 99-02 predator. Here is my experience so far. When I put in there performance tune my fuel trims were all over the place in closed loop and in WOT. I wanted to tune the trims but SLP's version of this tuner does not have the injector slope parameter to tune the LTFT's. I finally removed my 85 MM MAF and the closed loop trims came back to normal....so the SLP's MAF was a wasted $200. I then tried to adjust the trims for WOT in the PE tables, but they are limted to +/- 5%, not much range. I have contacted both Diablo and SLP on this matter, Diablo has given me a written answer, which I have forwared on to SLP, I am waiting on their response. Basically the story is this, Diablo says that SLP specs out the tuner from them which has limited ranges, and no parameter for tuning LTFT's. SLP says....hmmmm, not sure we do that, I have been waiting for two days now for SLP to get back to me with an answer from their "ENGINEERS". So at this point I would advise you not to buy it from SLP....I'll keep you up to date if your interested.
As far as deleteing codes, you can erase them, but you can not remove them permanently.....
As for deleting codes, the standard Predator will allow you to delete AIR, EGR and rear O2s.
Thanks
Mike
