help with my lm1
Use these PIDs
Wide Band AFR 1 - LC-1 {CALC.AFR_LC11}
Base Efficiency Numerator 1 - LC-1 {CALC.BEN_LC11}
EXT.AD1
You must set up the LM1 with a computer. Period.
Set up 0 Volts to be 7.35 AFR.
Set up 5 Volts to be 22.35 AFR.
I got these numbers from the fact that EFI-Live uses this equation to calculate the AFR.
AFR = ({EXT.AD1}*3)+7.35
The Red wire I believe is channel one and the White Wire is channel two.
If I remember right, the LM1 doesn't accept those exact values so I made a custom PID. The custom PID will help get a more accurate reading for you AutoVE process.
Let us know how this works for you.
What you need to do is set up the LM1 to match the linear equation which it uses. Go to where it describes your PID for the LM1. Find out what that equation is and program your LM1 to match those characteristics. I believe that is your problem and if not a great place to start.
For example:
AFR = ({EXT.AD1}*3)+7.35
You know that the LM1 puts out 0-5Vs. If that abouve was your equation you would just plug 0 and 5 in there to get the AFRs you should program the LM1 to have at 0 and 5 volts.
Hopefully, someone will jump in to help you further.
