anyone else having limiter problems?

anyone else having limiter problems? i've set mine i dont know how many times all the way to 8k RPM and in 1st and second only, it still tags the limiter right at 6200. i've had the ecm flashed completely back to stock and re-edited and still, only 1st and second gear. i've gone by gear and by total RPM, is there some RPM by temp or other RPM limiting table im not seeing somewhere? anyone experience this?

set it to 7k in every gear, changed nothing else. Has worked flawlesly for me.
BTW my tach only says 6500 when I peg the limiter.
I do not trust the tach.
Sounds like you may have a problem child there. I am finding out that the ls1 computers are each different and each has problems.

i'm going to try and set the limiter to 7 and see if that helps. it's really as far as i plan on spinning it. i've got to get this fuel situation worked out first before i can realy do much else. thanks for the imput though. i agree, every one of these pcm's are diffrent and mine's just gay.
