Default Wideband Hook up. Does this sound ok?

I'm having trouble with my lc 1. I do a fresh air cal on it and it will work great for a little while. Seems like after I do a few key cycles and starts after reflashing the PCM then it reads all over the place. Sometimes it will loose my analog voltage settings I put in. This is how I have it wired. what do you think? RED hooked to 12v switched. BLUE hooked to ground wire at the traction control connector. WHITE hooked to same wire as the BLUE but seperate circuit to the ground wire. Do not have traction control. YELLOW to the PCM to simulate NB02. BROWN to the EFI Live V1 box. BLACK to the calabration button. Innovate tech support does not like the way I have it wired. How are you guys wiring yours?

Man it's hard to get any help on this site. Does someone want to share how they have there lc 1 hooked up. Innovate wants me to run the grounds to the engine block. This seems strange to me. I've got it hooked to a good ground source inside the car, so I think.

I have a lot of experience with the lc-1 and grounding issues are most of the time what causes problems. Try a good body ground inside the car instead of using a ground wire for another circuit. The reason being that circuit could be held at a slight voltage about true ground. You dont have to go directly to the block but a better ground then what you are using is needed. I have used ring terminals around body bolts as solid ground before

Other than that the way you have it hooked up looks good.

Thanks chevyls10 for the info. Seems hard to get any help on here. I will find a good body ground inside the car and try that.

Thanks again.

chevyls10 is right - you need a good chassis ground for the LC1 - they are sensitive as hell to ground.

Do you have a relocated battery? Just want to know for reference in case that could be causing an issue of feedback in the ground system.

I would also go around checking and cleaning all your current grounds. I know it sounds like a pain but as these cars age the grounds will start causing issues everywhere.

If you want to be overkill about it this will help out anyways run a ground wire directly from the battery(-) to the body and then also an extra ground from the back of the head to the firewall. Once again to make sure ground are grounds and not being held at a slight voltage.

I'm running the battery in the stock location. I should be able to do a voltage drop on my grounds to make sure they are clean grounds. If my grounds are clean I should be able to go to G201 under the right kick panel and ground the LC-1. If all else fails I will run it to the battery or the engine block. This LC-1 is a pain in the ***, but when it works it's nice.

I wasn't sure if you had a multimeter or not so I wasn't going to go there. Seeing that you do or have access to one then check your ground like you said and you should be fine. I am not sure of that ground you are talking about but if it has other ground terminated there then you should be better than what you had before

Thanks for the help chevyls10. I will try the body ground G201 and make sure it is a clean ground.
