V.A.T.S. question, speartech please look inside! I have a 98 pcm from a camaro. We tried disabling the vats system with a hp tuners set up, but the vehicle still cranks and then dies. Can you completely bypass the vats by enabling it in hp tuners or do we have to make up a module to bypass it. This whole setup has been put in a 79 C10 p/u truck.

I can't say for sure on the HPT with the 98 PCM, but it is certainly do-able. We do them here all the time with no problem. No bypass module needed. If you want to send the PCM we can try it here on an engine. You cover the shipping.
