First question is that Do you really need a FAST or Big Stuff 3, The only reason you would NEED these is if your stock PCM cannot handle the mods, and I have seen Stock PCM's on some 9 sec and faster cars. We went to a FAST XFI system on Tony Shepards car because his motor is made to make power in the higher RPM where the stock pcm was out of range.....

ok i am new to this efi stuff.......what i have is a all forged 402,patriot heads, carb style intake with forced induction elbo,105mm TB,150#injectors,91.5 forced induction custom turbo in a 1968 camaro. trust me all the deal of paying big money for a bunch of wires and a box is killing me but i have no stock wiring to piggyback onto(could be obtained easy)and i assume i have to have a driver or aftermarket system with low impedence inj. etc.I am still a little scared that my turbo and inj. are to big but it is all supposed to work good together for my "serious"street/strip application from what i am told.........?????

I like the XFI personally.
Big Stuff is also a great peice.

The XFI requires the use of an external box called a XIM which is an electronic distributor and is needed for running coil on plug ignitions

The Big stuff does not require this as it is built in.
I am told though when using it for a coil on plug setup you lose
some other functionabilty.Im not sure what though.
Making as much power as you should,I would personally go aftermarket ECU.

Let me know if you need anymore help.

BTW where are you located?

the fast and the bigstuff will need wiring harness to work.
the roadrunner does not.

Yeah but $@&# tuning 150lb injectors with an OEM based platform...

I haven't used or even seen the innerworkings of the fast setup but BS3 is nice and has tons of other advantages over a modified stocker like the RR. Closed loop wideband control at selective times is nice. Fueling and timing based on it's own native wideband is nice.

The ability to tune on the fly rather than flashing the PCM for c hanges is especially handy with the larger injectors
