Tuning/Emissions TR 224/114
Curious to know if getting the TR 224 on a 114 past emissions is a challenge via LS1 Edit tuning. Assume FLP headers/cats 900 idle on an M6, ~13:1 AF.
Thanks!
Chris
Changes with LS1Edit.
1. idle 875 without and with a/c from 132 to the end.
2. COTs off
3. MAF was at 107% of stock.
4. Change all the misfire codes that are 32767 to 32000. Yes every one of them under Engine Diagnostics/Misfire Detection. You can delete the code, but I don't like deleting anything if I can just lower the tolerance.
5. Fans Stage 1, 175 on 150 off, stage 2, 190 on 160 off.
6. Rev limiters to 6850, back on at 6849.
7. knock learn Max RPM to 6850
8. Use EFI and log to death until all knock is gone after raising Advance in the High and Low octane tables, lowering until knock goes away.
Wash, Wax, the car and make your engine bay SPOTLESS
It destracted them from the tests, worked for me..Finally: try to make sure to goto a OBD-II only testing center.
I thought 114 lsa's were supposed to be easier to pass emissions?
I'd say you'd get more power with the OEM MAF back on. Looked at your dyno.
With that cam, OEM heads, and full exhaust you should be seeing 380-390+ with tuning...
Chris
I am exspecting to be at least above 390. Still have to goto the dyno with the latest tune.
