Default California Emissions in Tennessee??

My car originally was a California emissons car. I deleted AIR and EGR on my car and added LTs - ORY- Catback. How does the California emissions effect my car. Where near East Tenn. should I go get tuned.

Vengeance is just outside Atlanta, LS1 Power Tuning is in Orangeburg, SC(Near Charleston) and there's a couple small shops in Knoxville as well. What part of Knoxville?

Actually I am just on the out skirts of West Knoxville. I have only heard of one dyno tuning shop. Its a porshe shop but there might be an LS1 tuning guru.

You can do an out of state emissions test and send the results to the DMV in Cali if you still want to keep your car registered in Cali. On another note, I thought Tenn doesn't have emissions?

Tennessee does not have emissions, I wouldnt pass anyway. The car is a California emission car. It was made that way. If it is hooked up to a Tech 2 it even says that it is. Even though I have taken the EGR and AIR off and installed headers, I need to get the car tuned now. What I really am asking is that if I get it tuned, how hard will it be to get the computer to not say that it is a California Emissions car. Does anyone know the difference between a regular emissions and California emissions? I have lived in TN all my life, I just dont want a detuned version if thats the case.

Look at it this way-- If I put a label on your forehead that said "I live on mars", you would still live in Tennessee. Once you remove the Cali crap and retune, the only remnants of Cali emissions is the label. Don't sweat it.
