Default replace MAP sensor how to?

Going to a two bar MAP on my 02 LS6. is there a write up or directions on how to. I don't know were it is or really what to do.

ahh the sage advice i was looking for. I have searched but maybe i am searching wrong. i havent found any good results. Can i have at least a hint

Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor Replacement

Removal Procedure -

1. Remove the PCV heat exchange cable fastener.
2. Remove the PCV hose from the throttle body.
3. Remove the PCV hose from the right bank port.
4. Release the PCV hose assembly from the mounting brackets.
5. Move the PCV hose assembly aside.
6. Disconnect the MAP sensor electrical connector.
7. Twist the MAP sensor forward in order to release the sensor from the retainer.
8. Pull the sensor upward.

Installation Procedure -

Important

Lightly coat the MAP sensor seal with clean engine oil before installing the sensor.


1. Install the MAP sensor. Push the MAP sensor down in order to engage the sensor into the retainer.
2. Connect the MAP sensor electrical connector.
3. Position the PCV hose assembly for reassembly.
4. Insert the PCV hose assembly to the mounting brackets.
5. Install the PCV hose to the right bank port.
6. Install the PCV hose to the throttle body.
7. Install the PCV heat exchange cable fastener. Tighten
8. Tighten the PCV heat exchange cable fastener to 12N·m (106 lb in).
