MSD box ?
MSD box ? I think this should go in this forum? Related to tuning.
But I have this MSD box that came with the carb manifold from Edelbrock. It included the timing curve pills, and I think I may be stuck with those....BUT...I found a little black cap on the side of the box, and under it is a DB-9 connector for the tuning cable. Can I hook this box up to a laptop and set it up with the MSD software instead of the "Curve" pills?

It's part #6000. #6010 is the programmable one.
I wonder if it's as easy as soldering a jumper or resistor in to get it to work with the programming cable instead of the chips? I'm dreaming though.
