my friend just got a new z06 and found a tuner in the back of the car that a tech forgot about. It says GM Tech 2 tuner. I was thinking about purchasing a tuner to change fuel, shift points and what not. Would this style of tuner work for that or should i not mess with it?

It does not take anything away from your life to give it back, but it could seriously hurt someone elses.

+Eleventy to the above! Take it back. Hell, they might give you free oil changes for life or similar for your honesty (not that you should do this to try and get compensation, it's the right thing to do)!

I agree!
Dude, that **** ain't cool....I had the same **** happen to me. I accidently left a GM required Tool ina guys Truck, and he found it and kept it. He told me he kept about 2 years later, when we met in a Grocery store. He didn't think it was that funny after I told him that my Service Manager (at that time) held me responsible and I had to pay the Dealership $650.00 for the damn Battery Load Tester.
So be stand-up guy, and if you ever find a Technicians tools in your vehicle, take em' back to they guy. We have to make our living by working or your ****! Would you want us to take your walllet if you left it in your car while we were working on it?
