98 Computer w/ nitrous???
98 Computer w/ nitrous??? are the 98 computers crap if you were to add nitrous???
long story but my original motor took only (3) 75 shots of nitrous and blew up(never got a diagnosis on what really happened, its a long story too), would my pcm be the blame?... i have always wondered if it was the computers fault since i sold it to a buddy(stock 02 ta with no tune), set it up exactly the same way on his car and he sprayed a 150 shot for more than 20+ bottles and never had a problem...i really havent been too concerned but now im tempted to get back into the nitrous world and i would like to know if it would benefit me to get the 99-02 pcm, or just keep the 98 pcm and get a good tune (will be tuned before any nitrous runs through it)...
any help would be appreciated...
