Question Battery power cut off switch.

I"ve got a cut off switch on the battery that cuts the ground and kills power to the car because I have chassi short somewhere that will drain the battery in a few days. Question is, will cutting all power to the ECU everytime I park the car damage anything? Does it reset each time? Any ill affects that can happen?

Nope wont hurt a thing other than the pcm having to relearn the fuel trims etc for the first few minutes of driving. I cannot confirm or deny but I have read and heard people talking about there being a slight power loss while the learning process is taking place. However, if you are running a custom tune sometimes they disable the function that allows it to learn and automatically adjust the fuel trim.
