Default RoadRunner

Anybody running a RoadRunner PCM and if so, how do you like it?

I guess only time will tell, but OEM PCMs have to be extremely durable. When it comes to after market electronics, I'm always a little leary.

I've run one for a while and been very pleased with it.

Thanks man. I'm quite interested in using it in conjunction with EFI Live's RTACS system. Would be a bit pricey in total, but might be a good way to keep an optimum tune while modding the engine bit by bit.

We use ours all the time. Our 98' has one mounted permanently in it and use it constantly.

I was in the same boat as you for a while. Once I took the plunge, I couldn't figure out how I lived without it. RTACS is the icing on the RR cake!

When you're ready, give Chad a call ^^^^. Chad's a great guy to work with and he'll get you up and running in no time.

I have has a roadrunner in my 1998 car for about a year. I have had a couple of weird issues where I had to shut the car off, and restart for everything to be normal but it seemed to only be an issue when the car battery got low and the car had to be jumped to start. (since i replaced the battery no issues, now I run a 1999+ roadrunner with no issues.)

Since the roadrunner is an OEM pcm, with an emulator chip setup inside, i expect it to be nearly as reliable, and durable as the oem piece.

I have one in 4 of my cars, I love using them. We also use them when tuning in person if it is a high hp car. They are timesavers, plus make the tunes increadably accurate when you set up the filters right. Another +1 for the roadrunner.

I love mine when it's working but I've been having some connectivity issues that nobody has been able to solve yet

I have a roadrunner thats been sitting in my basement for about 3 months now, I haven't had time to install it, and now that its -1zillion degrees outside, it'll be till spring when I can install it...but i can't wait! Is there an online resource where someone has put up all the right filters to get your tune really accurate using the RR? If not, someone should do it, I dare you!

Best Regards,
Adrian Mejia
