I got it on video
Can anyone verify that you can pull and look over your tune with just the scanner and the free trial of EFI Live???

Today was cleaning day:
The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
I'm having a similar issue. After installing an LS6 intake and ported TB the RPMs would act up. I eliminated TCS with a single cable coming from the gas pedal. The idle will hang at like 1500rpms and then drop to 900-1000 at a red light with clutch disengaged.
I am getting my tranny rebuilt, new clutch, new slave soon. I also plan on getting HPTuners so I can tune this car like my Camaro. I will also check for vac leaks or faulty sensors.
Good luck
Andy
EFI Live Scan only is $250. Full tune version is $500.
So, it will likely be frustrating waiting for the UPS truck, but that sure beats being blind to my motor.
I need some cold dry days to replicate the problem. The roads are wet and temps are 30F-45F for now.
The datalogging of the V1 is great. With on a few runs and while on the steep slope of the learning curve I've already found great info. (injector DC 82%@107mph WOT.)

Tuning is like Asimov's famous quote on science, "Science [insert "tuning"] is always wrong. The trick is to be less wrong today than we were yesterday."

I can't beleive it. I just got through saying how great the car has been running. I head out to run some errands, hook up the Flashscan to gather some O2 data and then it goes into high idle again. Well this is the whole reason I bought EFI Live so I swap PID files and go to my IAC file which of course has all of the IAC PIDs on plus RPM, TP and a few others. It seems that the high idle is triggered from the AC, but not always.
Here's a couple log files. #14 has all of he vacuum ports on the front end of the motor plugged off.
When I turn the AAC off it will hunt around and then settle back down to normal idle. Sometimes it really hunts around first.
I created a dashpage with RPM and TP on the same chart...looks pretty interesting.
