Unlocking Predator VIN

Unlocking Predator VIN If I return my PCM to the factory tune will it re-lock to a new VIN? Since I've gone beyond it's capabilities I'm wondering if I can unlock it and sell it to someone with minor modding needs?

Think it depends on what version/revision it is. I have one of the first units (1.03) and would need be unlocked by diablosport, unless someone just wanted to read real time data or scan/clear current codes with it. 2.1? or higher thinking it's not necessary to have it unlocked and fully useable on another car as long as it's been returned to stock.
