I believe there are a couple resellers (?) but I doubt you're going
to see a price war. If you want cheap, look for used; they come
up every so often.

Look for a used one. I bought one last week for $350 shipped with 5 credits left and it works great!! Just do a search in the sale section or place a ad in the want to buy section like i did.

It takes 2 to tune the car and then some people use another credit to tune the maf. So i would say atleast 3 credits. I think the credits cost $50 a piece so if you find one with no credits for a great deal its easy to get more.

2 would get you enough to tune 1 pcm & tcm(when applicable)

The only time you'd use anymore credits is if you want to take advantage of one of our custom operating systems which in most cases are not necessary. What 02c6ss is probably referring to is our Real Time Tuning Custom operating system that allows you to tune your maf as well as a couple of dozen other tables in real time which, yes, would cost you 1 credit if you wanted to go that route.

Happy New Year guys!
