Default Another beginner tuning ?

I have searched and after hours of reading posts back to 04, visiting mfg. web sites, and still have some questions since much has changed lately with EFI and HPT.

I will have to tune a 03 gmc for cam, gears, converter.
I would like to tune in the future my 95 LT1 but I know no one makes a product to work with both!

I just want it right and driveable with a big cam.

I feel that both EFI and HPT will work for me..so

Should I
1. Buy HPT and tune the LTFT with no wideband O2?
2. Invest in a wide band O2 and tune with either EFI or HPT?
3. BuY EFI and invest in a O2 and Roadrunner and use the RTACS?
4. mailorder tune from Thunder racing

From what I have read so far 1 will be the most affordable but will take the longest, and 3 will be the most expensive and the easiest!

feed back please?

HPT gives you real time tuning with the included credits that come with it!!! with a stock PCM, no need for a roadrunner.

ANd yes, use a wideband. You CANNOT tune WOT with trims.

How bout option 5

Purchase HP Tuners & invest in O2 & use 1 of your 8 credits to apply Real Time Tuning

idle, fueling, spark, etc. we give you many of the more important engine parameters to edit in real time without needing expensive extra hardware or software licenses.

One thing is sure so far.

HPT is there is answer your questions! I sent another question to them from their site (regarding the adjustability of the electronic throttle) and had a reply within the hour!
