HELP with Wideband O2 Sensor Install I just purchased a LC-1 wideband O2 sensor from Innovate Motorsports and need some help getting things going. For simplicity, I am hoping to install the sensor in one of the OEM sensor ports. The manual says this can be done since the LC-1 can output a 'Narrow Band' analog signal. Although, I will have to interface this analog signal with the PCM. I removed the OEM sensor and found the 4 wires. From another thread I found on this forum, someone posted the following wiring diagram for the 4-wire sensor:
Pink - 12v source
Black - Ground
Tan/White - PCM Low
Purple/White - PCM High
Does anyone know if I can interface the LC-1 with the car's PCM? Just guessing, can I take the analog out from the LC-1 and connect to the Purple/White (PCM high) and connect the Tan/White (PCM Low) to ground. Is this what they are meaning by High and Low?? The manual also suggested that I leave the OEM sensor connected and secured to the frame to keep the SES code from activating (i.e. simulate a load for the PCM). If this all seems like a bad idea, my other alternative is to drop the exhaust and install the LC-1 sensor by welding in another coupling. I would love to avoid this if I can. I would appreciate anyone's help/opinion!! Thanks

I would take it to a exhaust shop and for about $10 they can weld in your O2 bong (the 1 that came with your wideband) They can do this without removing the exhaust! In my opinion this is easyer than wiring it to your existing O2 sensor. Plus if you want to run a gauge and log you will need both out puts for that!
