02 Wideband Bung Location?

as close as you can get it to the head(s). if your running headers. you need to put it in the collector. the reason you want it closest to the head is so it will read the a/f more accurately

either collector. most put it on the driverside. i already told you why. but the further down stream from the actual combustion chamber you go the more chances for a false reading. and it MUST be put up stream from the converter (if you have converters)
I have a bung on the passenger side in the header collector before the cat, and a guy who is tuning the car says the driver side is better because it has the leanest bank....

number 7 cyl is known for being a little lean.
you can get a o2 bung from summit or a muffler shop for 10 or 15 dollars. and buy a whole saw for 10 dollars for the correct size and weld it in. i have the fast dual wideband and the driver side runs a little leaner, but not enough to even think about it.

When I tune a car, I install the wideband in place of the stock RF O2 sensor. On a V6 FWD car, the wideband is installed in place of the stock O2 sensor in the rear exhaust manifold.
