Who can perf tune 99 Camaro LS6 w/ LS1 Edit in N. Illinois??
I need someone who can tune with LS1 Edit and has the stock LS6 timing tables and fuel tables. I recently installed LS6 engine in my 99 Camaro SS but didn't get ANY performance gains. Although I don't hear any knocking, I acknowledge what you are saying.
Any recommendations for someone in the Northern Illinois region?
If you like the humor, I've been told what to do when I get there, I've just not yet been told where to go!!! (Humor in reality).
Any help would be appreciated.

One problem you will have in using a 99 PCM with your VIN number.
Pre 01 cars used a 75 mm MAF, the MAF table in the PCM starts at 1,500 Hz.
A 01 and newer PCM supports 85 mm MAF and table starts at 750 hz, so if your also using the Z06 85 mm MAF with your 99 PCM and flash then every time MAF outputs less then 1,500 Hz, the PCM cannot compare to MAF table since it starts at 1500 Hz.

Re: Who can perf tune 99 Camaro LS6 w/ LS1 Edit in N. Illinois??
rayr,
What Team ZR-1 is saying is very true. However, talk to the tuners about it - what the guy doing mine said was that he would copy only the Z06 timing table, and work with the fuel related tables (including MAF) in the LS1 tuning in the PCM.
The guy doing mine is very knowledgable in LS1 Edit, so I have faith in what he is saying.
Maybe Team ZR-1 can back this up.
Also, I added some more on your other post.
