Was going for a drive today and check engine light came on

I just got the car off the stands today It had ran for 2 hours today while on stands not constanlly though i little here and there checking wires and stuff.Well I had no lite so I took it out for a test drive and the check engine light came on.Anyway to re-set the computer

what you want to know how to reset trouble codes? I believe that you have to pull the fuse for the computer....or are you looking for something else?

Unhook your bat. for 15 mins. That will reset your computer. But you should scan it to see what the code is.

could it be that the battery is bad im running gauges,underbodies,a big amp and strobes?could that be it?

You could go to Autozone or Advance Auto and have them pull the code for you. Just resetting it probably isn't the best move. Would be helpful to know what set it in the first place.
