IFR table for 63lb injectors...is this right?

Default IFR table for 63lb injectors...is this right?

It looks like the max value for these cells is 63.49...what do folks do that have injectors that are 60lb. or larger?

According to my calcs, my IFR table should look like this with my Siemens 63lb. injectors. They flow 60.56 lb/hr @ 43.5psi:

Since the E40 pcm does not allow for larger values "yet", you most likely have to cut the maf curve.

Your car uses MAP or VAC for the IFR table?

Using an injector calculator to determine flow at different pressures than the rated pressure is a good way to come up with the numbers.

If the fuel pressure is 58psi (compared to atmosphere), then the fuel pressure at the injector is actually higher than that, when you compare it to manifold vacuum.

For example, using MAP numbers, 30kpa is -10psi (or like 68 fp at the injector), 65kpa is -5psi (or like 63 fp at the injector), and 100kpa is nearly the same as atmosphere (or a straight 58 fp at the injector). So you could run those values through a calculator and see if the ratings line up.

I found several "actual" rating numbers for the 60/62.5/63/65 Mototrons. I finally just picked one (62.5 I think) and calculated from that to my fuel pressure. I also have a vacuum/boost referenced regulator on the rail, so my numbers ran the same all the way across. I'm around 72 all the way across (going from memory).

Oh I follow about the "max" value now. The folks with the smaller engines are using a fraction (like 50%), then bringing it back up with an IFR multiplier (x 2) in another table. I don't know if you have that multiplier in your setup or not.

Dont think there is such a thing in the gm s/w, it is a hard limit in the pcm, i am sure someone will come out with a patch for it soon enough. I have just been cutting the maf curve to make it work for now, not pretty but have to work with what you got.

In some cases the Cobalt/Solstice guys are using the "flowrate modifier vs. volts" to do the job.
