Default tuning software for lt1 obd1

got some money together and am looking for an affordable but decent tuner software for my lt1 obd1 turbo build. what kinda software is available and what are some opinions on one to get.

Tunercat for editing. Datamaster for datalogging.

somewhat of a steep learning curve. Unless you have someone to help explain what does what IMHO. I assume your interested because of your turbo build??

Hopefully my Open loop (no o2's) 2bar Speed Density tune works!

yeah i have a buddy that can show me what does what. just mainly looking for a decent program that i can learn on and get my pcm to a safe level for a few lbs of boost.about to start rounding up fuel parts for my build and just want to get the software end figured out.

The only other option I know of is LT1 edit.

Well every tuning program/platform is different then the next.

like OBDII from OBDI is a different animal. Not a lot similar. So if he is going to help then get the program he knows...

Otherwise, Tuner Cats with the EE edfinition file is your best bet. $80 on Tunercats. $20 for the Lt1 definition file (EE). And $80 for all the cables.

You have to buy a datalogger seperate no matter what tuner you go with. Datamaster is $100. But then there is freescan for free
