some high octane ???
some high octane ??? So I put 6 gal of 100 octane in my ride about a week ago and about 1/2 hour after putting it the car was like a rocket ship!! The car ran fine for a good hour while I was cruising a doing some bar hoping but then I didnt drive the car for few days and then it ran RICH as ****!! Some times the my A/F wouldnt even register...just show barley about 10.0 and thats crusing on the highway, if I romped it it would sometimes lean out a little to 11ish but still sputter cause of all the fuel. My main question is...will this higher octane effect the richness...I just dont understand how...cause its just dumping fuel in the engine. Once I got the car down to a 1/4 of a tank I filled it with 91 and it lean back out. Could I have fucked up the 02 sensors or something and thats why it was running so rich? Just looking for some advice. The car really did feel good when it was actually running good. Id like to try it again but maybe only put 1-2 gallons in.

you sure it was UNleaded???
maybe you messed up your CAT's and O2 sensors...

yeah...
I know when I put in some 100 octane once in a while, the car runs like a raped-ape/bat outta hell, but it's CAM2/Sunoco GT100, which is 100 octane UNleaded right at the pump... and everything runs fine, no issues at all...
