06 e40 tbss vats question I put a new ecm in truck and was getting secruity light and no start. Disabled the vats runs fine.
Heres my question what do I have to do so I can return the vats to normal? Do I have to take it to the dealer?

600 seconds key on in ignition position.
Turn off key, wait 8.124 seconds,
Turn key back on and wait 600 seconds,
Turn off key, Wait 8.124 seconds,
Turn key back on and wait 600 seconds,.
Repeat for a total of 3 600 second wait times. Then it should start on the 4th time.
To know you waited long enough the VATS icon should shut off after the 600 seconds.
