Help! Car throwing codes

Help! Car throwing codes 01 WS6 M6 all stock except for lid. Car is throwing po305 and po430. 305 is engine misfire and 430 is cats I believe. Help on what to do to diagnose and fix this or take to shop? Had the codes deleted today and need to know what to do next.

I always delete the codes, let them come back, to see what ones do. From that point, begin your diag, misfire could be plugs, or if anything like stangs, COP's go bad like theres no tommorow. As for the cats, could be an efficency thing, time for a y pipe upgrade. lol
P0305 = cyl 5 misfire detected - bad plug/wire
P0430 = bank 2 sensor 2 catalyst efficiency below threshold - bad cat/o2 sensor (pass. side)

Mods- Sorry for the duplicate post. Wasn't sure if it was the correct forum or not. Both cats replaced less than a year ago. What do I look for and/or do next? Bought the car with 55,000 on the odometer now with 72,000. Tune-up, new plugs and wires? Always run 91-93 octane. Any ideas?

just thought I'd give a litle insight on the code situation. I work for Chevrolet and with the cat problem your local dealership should be able to hook you up on that. Your cats are covered up to 80k miles. Even so if you had them replaced less than a year ago at a dealership, any Pontiac/Chevrolet dealership can stand behind the 12month 12k mile part warranty. So obviously my next question is who replaced you cats?
I suppose it's possible. #5 misfiring and dumping more raw fuel than the cat can handle. First I'd check the #5 plug wire and make sure it's on tight. If it is, change plugs and wires and go from there.

Cats were replaced by the dealership here in Illinois per the "this is not a recall" letter that alot of us had received about our cats. A friend has told me that the po430 cat code could be caused by a bad o2 sensor(s). More help?
