Can Efilive Delete Code P0332?

Default Can Efilive Delete Code P0332?

I am throwing code p0332 which is the knock sensor bank 2 code. Everyone who throws it says they also are getting about 4 degrees of knock also. Im not though. How do you delete this with efilive? If I delete it will I still throw knock because of the bad sensor?

Programming out codes does not stop the problem, it just stops the PCM from telling you about the problem, if you have a bad knock sensor you probably should change them both.

I want to delete them all together. How can you visibly tell if there bad?

Unless the knock sensor is physically damaged, a visual inspection won't help much.

If money is tight, you could check around to see if someone has an extra you can swap out to verify if the knock sensor is bad. Otherwise you can replace them.

Deleting knock sensors is really not a good idea, they are there to protect your motor

Im talking about for the time being until I get new ones. I know there purpose. How can I delete them temporarily with efilive?

Would deleteing this code cause a problem with the OBD2 inspection for emissions inspections (Aircare ect.)?

In the navigation/search window type P0332. Should come up to the DTC listing. Change it to Not Reported and you won't see this code.
