Cammed LS1's:What RPM is your idle at?
#21
Last few weeks:
G5X3 (238/242 I *think*) on a 114, M6, AFR 205s, Fast90/90: 700 RPMs hot, this cam hits and loves to idle low and solid. Only idle, light cruise tuning done yet though.
Custom with Comp lobes 226/230 112 LSA, a4, TIGHT 3k Yank stall, 800 in gear/neutral hot.
Futral F13 (230/232 I think) on a 112, M6, 850 RPMs hot. This cam was a little finicky this time around.
224/228 114 LSA comp "custom" grind, M6, 700 RPMs hot. Idled at 700 (stock) just fine warm when it got to me for tuning.
Unknown origin "custom" 235/237 on a 110 LSA A4, 4500 vig stall, 900 RPMs solid and counting them off in gear. I was kinda dreading it to be honest, but it wasn't bad at all. I could have knocked off another 25 RPMs but the owner asked me to leave it at 900 and it sure sounds mean enough there.

258 duration 650+ lift 116 in the caddy, Have it set to 600Rpm idle, But will idle at 500.. "several people say it drives better than stock"
Actually idles very smooth for how big the cam is. MTI racing in georgia made the cam for me.. 853 hp to the wheels with a spec twin disc and aluminum flywheel.
Someday i will explain to everyone how to do weird stuff.....

I've got my TR224/112lsa M6 set at 825 rpm. I guess I could lower it, but I don't mind it where it is now. Maybe I'll lower it to 750-800 and see how it sounds. I forget what it was when stock, 750?
