Help with IAT PLease
Help with IAT PLease So I ran my codes today and found seven different ones..Ill start with this one because the rest are all 02 related...the iat is reading a high input...Its had this problem since I bought the car...I checked the resistence with a mulimeter and one side came out to 4.95 and the purple .01....what should I do???

Sounds like an open circuit, either harness or the IAT itself.
Measure the IAT resistance on the car, should be a few
hundreds to few tens of kOhms (depending on temp, duh).
If IAT is sane then the problem has to be in the harness,
connectors etc.

So I went outside again and retested the iat sensor...Ok the multimeter was set on DCV 20..when putting a probe to the purple wire and the other probe to ground the meter read.01........When the meter was put to the light wire the meter read ~4.86..
I know the outside temp is a factor but I think after doing research the 4.86 is about right just not sure about the purple wire....
any input is appreciated
