I'm trying to hook up my wideband o2 sensor and read it via HPtuners.
I wired the O2 sensor into the EGR position into the ECU (slot 55 on blue connector)
I went into HPtuner editer and enabled the EGR function and set the min. speed to 0. So the computer should now be reading the "EGR voltage" correct?
Then I went into VCM scanner and made a custom PID to tell me what the EGR voltage is. I left the sensor drop down menu blank, Units is V, and then typed in [PID.2811]
So this should give me strictly what the WB sensor is reading as a voltage. Well when I turn on the car, that box displays " <unsupported parameter> ". Don't know what that means.
BTW, the WB o2 sensor is putting out a signal of about 2.5V as read on my DMM.
Thanks for the help

Have you looked at this thread: https://ls1tech.com/forums/pcm-diagnostics-tuning/451779-hooking-up-wb-another-sensor-egr-read-into-hpt.html
Under Configure User Defined Parameters, I have:
Name: Wideband (EGR)
Abbrv: WB EGR
Sensor: Air Fuel Ratio
Units: afr
Function: [PID.2811]/.5+10

yep,
I initially made the custom parameter just like you have (but with a LC-1....slightly different equation) it was reading "7.35" afr which relates to 0 Volts. That's when I checked the voltage output of the O2 sensor with my DMM and was getting ~2.5 volts.
That's when I made the PID to read just EGR voltage, and got the error message above.

Did you make sure that you connected to the correct wire position on the ECU? (sometimes the wiring diagrams change between different model years and types of vehicles) I didn't think that any of the Corvettes had EGR, so maybe the EGR wiring is not active?

I figured it out. All of the instructions that I read basically said "oh yeah, make sure you log the EGR voltage". So I just made a PID that was just [PID.2811]. So this morning I was reading over some more instructions that stated it just ever so slightly different and the light bulb came on. You go into Engine>Emissions and log EGR position that is already in there. So now it works!
