maf problem during tune at high RPM

maf problem during tune at high RPM Tuner is having problems with MAF signal saying no air flow at high RPMs, says it is dropping off around 5500 RPM. He switched the MAF with one from a low mile 06 and got the same results, anyone else having this issue or know the cause?? He has adjusted the closed loop without a problem. The open loop is causing the problems. this is an EF Live Tune.

Look at the real frequency (scanner and if possible a
DMM that reads frequency). This will tell you if the
MAF itself or its interpreted airflow is the problem.
MAF signal can be corrupted by EMI in the harness,
the Helm book suggests debundling the MAF wires to
check this.
