Default Can i extend the wires for my wideband sensor?

Im running a dynotune wideband setup. I need to put my sensor in a different location in my exhasut. Only issue is that the sensor wiring is not long enough. I can not find and extension and was wondering if i could add wiring to the sensor.

I tried that once on a mustang installing longtubes and they never read correctly again. I soldered another 6" I think into it and ran like crap. Ever since then I wasnt a firm believer in lengthening those wires.

I would check with dynotune. If you do it right I do not see why you could not extend them.
