My car has some serious issues. Its been down for over a year and completely torn apart. Its mostly all back together now and I hooked up the battery to check out my cd player and new speakers. Everything seemed to be fine including the brake lights. I had a fan switch that used to work and I ficked it on and everything went to hell althought the fans did work. The radio was on and it cut out and lots of other strange things.

Now, I turn the key to on and the tack and gas gauge tick like a clock and the radio doesn't work. The needles don't move much, but they are moving. When I press the brakes, the gauges freak out and go into a full sweep and right back to ticking. I checked all the fuses. When I pull the stop/hazard fuse and tap the brakes, it doesn't sweep. Although nothing I pull affects the ticking besides the gauges fuse of course.

I have no idea whats going on! HELP
