only if you use the hpt 2 bar OS, but you cannot get any real time tuning using hptuners (on 98 vehicles)

It says on the site they allow for real time tuning with the custom OS for 98's also. I have the serial version now, and I don't have real time tuning. But I have to get the custom OS for SD anyways, i was just cursious about the PCM swap

Actually, you can use a 2 bar map with any pcm IIRC-just have to rescale all the tables. I forget the part number to the stock GM 2 bar map sensor but you can do a parts lookup on it from an impala SS 3800SII SC

Why are you going to SD? it's a step backward in technology.
Might as well just throw in an old LT1 computer, would seem kinda pointless to upgrade the PCM to a faster processor and then downgrade the software to 1994.
Just an opinion.

I'm not going to switch pcm's. SD is much better for high hp applications. The MAF sensor is good to about 500hp, then after that it guesses.
