p0171 have this code on my 3.8l impala i had the maf ends of the stock maf ported but the car has driven this way problem free for 2 weeks and many miles any suggestions will help.I already checked for air leaks after the maf and there are none possible bad o2 sensor????
I've seen on some Fords when using a "performance" air filter (not oil charged), they would create more velocity of the incoming air which made the car throw lean codes. If available I would try a stock MAF and see what it does. I also agree, weird it went two weeks. Which kind of makes me think it could be the porting.
