Default OBD port missing from salvage harness?

I just discovered that my salvage engine has wiring harness for engine only, there is no port where to put diagnostic cable? Am I right that it is the OBD that is used for tuning cable?

The aldl connector is part of the interior dash board harness. wires run with inside harness to under dash area. Just cut the aldl and some wire length with it from your donor car. with a scematic you can wire it right in your engine harness

It would be easier and cheaper to get a manual and fix your car. A plug can be had from a junk yard car or online. Splice that sucker in and you are good to go.
