megasquirt with factory coils yet???
i am going to make the switch to ms2 from hpt. i thought i ran across a post the other day saying that someone figured out how to run ms with the factory coils and factory reluctor wheel and cam sensor......can anyone verify this??? if not, can i use ms for the fuel and keep hptuners for the spark and data logging???

i am setting up a MSI with a LSX msd box. im keeping the stock ecu for the A/C, but can remove it at anytime.
you will want to datalog off of the MS. the VE analyzer kicks ***. what take somebody a month or two to do, will take you a day

yes you can use MS for just fuel, I did this on my old Neon, I hooked it into the negative side of the fuel injector harness so I could leave the factory power for the injectors.

so you guys are saying that i should use ms for the fuel and hpt for the spark???
i am guessing that all i need to leave hooked up to the factory ecm is the crank and cam sensors, and coil pack wireing?????? rest will be hooked into the ms??????
also, if i go this route, which version of ms is the best???? msI v 3.0 or msII
