Default Starting to get real sick of the cam'd life.

Got a 228/232 .588/.595 110+4 LSA and had it tuned but it still surges on occasion like a bastard and i have to two foot the brake and gas to keep the sob alive. And what i hate most is when im switching from D to Reverse it revs up to like 2k making the trans slam into gear and then rpms dip to like 300 back up to 1500 and then dies. Effing pisses me off im tempted to go back to stock or get rid of the stupid thing. Just had to vent, im about to lose it rate now

use your tools, fix your tune and life will be zen. You can go SD and tune the bottom of your VE table with STFTs, that'll fix most of what you are describing right there.

I have almost the same cam. It is a pain to tune but I'm certain it can be much better than what your describing now. I've spent alot of time working on mine and it's now pretty decent. After getting AFR, IAC counts, and desired airflow in line, the cracker/follower and taming the learning tables a bit has made the most improvement with mine.

You don't need a COS. I've done alot of big Cam 98's OLSD.It is generic compared to the newer cars but works very well at taming Cams. Right now I have 2 -2bar OLSD 98's running 700-800rwhp with no problems.
