Just to clarify.
EFI live is better than auto tap? I see it has "bi_directional" controls, does this allow me to change the fuel and timing tables?! Will this work 100% with my LM7 5.3? Is it worth the 65.00 more?
Thanks for all the info!

I've just gone for EFILive5, http://www.autotap.com/EFILiveV5.html from the auto tap website.
"In 2002, B&B Electronics entered into an agreement with Starr Performace to distribute EFILive V5. Written to work with AutoTap's AT1 and AT123 hardware, EFILive has been embraced by LS1 owners as a "need to have" product. With bi-directional controls in the Pro model, users can override IAC, idle speed, gear selection, TCC lockup, Injectors, Spark advance, spark map, fuel map, AFR, Fuel mod and much more"
I just needed to sort out some SES codes, I expect I will go for LS1Edit one day so I can start playing with numbers, although EFILive will let you change some parameters but you need to keep the software going for the figures to stay in there.

RedWS6 00: Thanks! I looked over that info and it looks like a good set up. I just want to make sure it will work with my LM7 5.3 motor in the truck before I buy it!@
