Question about tuning and idle Hey guys. I recently had my car tuned and have a question. It’s a LS1 six-speed with a 228 cam on a 112lsa, headers and cat-back. Everything else is stock. Occasionally, the idle will dip when stopping or pressing in the clutch. Sometimes it stalls, but not often. Tuner said it will take a little time for the computer to “learn” everything and offered to make adjustments as needed. Problem is, I don’t have the time to take it back right now. Is what he said correct and can I expect it to “learn” the new tune? I’ve only driven the car a few times since the tune and only put about 100 miles on it. Should I give it more time or is there anything I can do until I can take it back to the tuner? I've searched and read all the posts I could find including the stickies, not sure if adjusting the TB set screw will work as I don't have a way to monitor the IAC or TPS other than a volt meter.
