Default BS3 fuel pump and fan wiring

I just want to make sure I have this right. For the fan and fuel pump it says to take the wire from bs3 to the negative side of the relay. I'm guessing this is the negative side of the coil and the bs3 completes the circuit via grounding to kick it on. So I'd just run a hot wire to the positive side of the coil correct? The 2nd pump goes to the positive side so it just triggers the pump like a conventional setup would.

That is correct, there is the + (highside) trigger wire for the gms, and then a - (lowside) trigger for the fords.

The fan wire is a 12v out to trigger a relay i believe.
