People with widebands...
People with widebands... Do you leave the sensor in all the time? I daily drive my T/A and don't know if I should leave the wideband sensor in everyday during just regular driving. Also what ratio reading are you getting when just driving normally? I'm trying to figure out if I have my wideband working correctly.
i have the lm-1 (comes with a handheld part) and I help people tune there cars so I take mine in and out.
i have many friends with the lc-1 and they leave it in all the time.
driving around town and such i have seen my wideband run from ~14.7 down to 12.0 when I'm getting on it
and up to 17 or higher due to deceleration and almost no fueling

Related question, does it help/hurt to clean the sensor with something like MAF or electric cleaner when it's taken out?

I wouldn't attempt to clean it with anything but compressed air, if at all. Think of the glass bead underneath the shell like a light bulb- any liquid on it when heated(running) will crack it.
Well ok cool I will leave it in 24/7 and not worry about the sensor. But I still think my wideband isn't working right? I have an Autometer Ultralite wideband and it reads between 14.7-15.0 all the time whether I be WOT or just regular cruising. I wired the red straight to the fuse panel in the dash and grounded it behind the kickpanel on the passenger side, the ground there was an existing ground. I guess on Thursday when I'm off from work I will run the ground straight to the battery and see if it changes anything. Maybe it's the wiring or just a plain ol bad sensor.

I just put a Autometer Ultralite Wideband in my car about two weeks ago and had the same problem as you did with the gauge reading 14.7-15.0 all the
time no matter what the driving habits
, so I unplugged the harness from the back of the gauge and plugged it back in the gauge, it is reading like it should now
, I know that sounds pretty dumb but that fixed my problem, dont think it was plugged in all the way the first time. Hope you have luck fixing your problem.
