Question is a tune the solution to my problems

i just rebuilt my tranny A4 had the torque converter rebuilt as well and swapped out my stock heads for ported ls6's and swapped out my old cam (228/232.588/.575 113) for a new (230/232 .592/.595 111). i expected the engine to run a little off, but i took the car for a test drive and the gears were not firm at all, the shiftpoints were all over the place and i was just very dissapointed with the overall performance of the car. it sucks when you put allot of time and effort into your ride and don't get the outcome you were expecting. so i'm praying that maybe the tune can fix the tranny issues cause i don't want to pull the transmission again.

Usually a converter softens up the shifts.... Did you have a performance rebuild or a stock rebuild? Throw in a shift kit that should tighten up the shifts.

But yes the car should be tuned....

performance rebuild. what gets me is that the car shifted just like i wanted before i burned up some clutches and the band. and now with everything new in it i would of expected the same firm shifts, but no. so i think it's either the heads and cam that are messing with my tranny or it's something in the trans itself.or could it maybe something that was changed in the converter when they fixed it?(TCI 3500)
