Default Can I put a pcm from another car in my car?

I just recently converted my car from an A4 to an M6. I have a pcm from a 98 M6 car and since my car is a 98 also. Can I take out my pcm and use the M6?

im 99% sure you can do this. My car is a 99 and I have a 2000 PCM in it. Im just not 100% with the 98's but I dont see why not.

You should have no problem as long as the donor pcm was from a 98 M6 Fbody. You might want to have the pcm checked out to see if there is any funny unwelcome programming running around from the previous owner(s). I can check it out, verify operation and set it up for $75 shipped to your door.
