Default need help tuning

i just installed my tr 224 cam so i am beginning the long process of programming the computer. i have adjusted the MAF table by 110% i(10%) in order to compensate for the ported MAF(i know that it is harder to use a ported MAF but its all i have) and reduced the IFR by 95%(which corresponds to a 5 % difference). Now my LTFT's are much closer to the desired values during normal cruising. At WOT, i have about 4* of KR, my timinig is only 17*-18* and for some reason one of my LTFT is 0 while the other is at 25. this seems a bit weird to me. if anyone out there can help me i would greatly appreciate it.

also how should i adjust the the timing. i know u need to go to the high octane spark table, but what do i do from there(adjust columns or whole table by percentage or certain values.

if anyone out there has similar mods to mine and wouldn't mind sending me a copy of their ls1 edit file, that would be a great reference in my quest for a finely tuned automobile.

if my approach is off. any advice would be a great help

2 problems. 4 deg KR, and 25% LTems on one bank.

You need to address the 25% LTerms. Try checking for a vacuum leak by spraying some propane around your intake. Try to get in the back.
Other things to look for are an exhaust leak, bad O2 sensor.

98's suffer from a knock problem. Most likely it is false KR (unless you can hear pinging). Run a search on 98's and KR and you will get plenty of solutions for this problem.

any more help. i got my LTFT down to negative numbers and 0 at wot. the knock is for the most part gone. my 02 sensors are around 920 at wot which is a little rich. my timing is about 20*. with all this the best that i could run in the 1/8th last night was 8.33. i was running this time before i put the cam in the car. the car feels stronger to me, but is sure isn't showing any improvement at the track. somebody please offer some advice.

I'm kind of in the same boat as you. I installed a 224/227 cam and am doing my own tuning. Before the cam I was running 13.2 and after a 13.03. Is the Charleston in your Location WV or SC? If its WV, I grew up in Winfield and drive through Charleston about once every month or two.

There has been many posts of 98's having bad knock sensors.Look into that.I would not recommend the 110% of the whole MAF table.Up to around 8000htz is ok but not the whole table.
Your timing should be 28-30 above 5200rpm.(the 20 degree's is killing your setup)
