A Gen IV crate motor w/a 58 Tooth Reluctor into a Gen III C5? I was told this was possible without changing the reluctor to the 24 tooth??? First I've heard of this.
Could this be done with an operating system change? Or have I been fed some BS?

The cam reluctor and the crank reluctor need to match. So you either need to swap the crank reluctor and cam gear/reluctor, or keep what's in there and upgrade pcms (huge pain)...or wait for LPE to come out with their converter box.
