But wait, what you are telling me is to move them even farther from the engine, closer to the header end???
To wrap the headers completely i will have to take them out, and that is a pain.
don't move them don't do anything.
please read the other thread somewhere about these codes also, just turn those particular codes off. and you will have no worries, please trust me on this, i have been down this road and the best thing to do is just turn the codes off

Im far from knocking you on this matter, Turning them off just seems as a quick fix GM added that code so it must be important. My boy turn them off and sprayed his car and it went lean, Not sure if that caused it but when he turn them back on it was fine All I know is 6 people that did move the bung closer or wrap the header problem fix. Im not saying it will work for everybody but who knows untill you try
Anytime you put a cam in the car will throw p0300. Just turn it off. Also turn off the slow switching codes. That is common for headers and your car will still run in closed loop. As for it being tuned correctly that is another matter.
move them closer to the COLLECTOR or farther in the exhaust stream at the collector.
if that doesn't fix it... turn them off.

I do understand your statement, and 02's do go bad, i'm not going to lie about it, but typically JUST the 1133 and 1153 codes being triggered is not an indication of bad 02's. you say that your boy turned them off and sprayed his car and it went lean, and you say you are not sure that turning them off may have caused that for your boy, I"m not trying to start an argument but there are plenty of other factors to cause you to go lean and so forth and i'm sure thats what you are saying also, as you didn't know if that what caused it.
you say the codes are there for a reason, people remove the air pump, its there for a reason, honda and toyota have full hydrogen cars already made and working... they aren't out for a reason... to make oil companies more money till the last everloving second gas will be around
