Been sleeping with my book well =) . Shhh =)

I don't read. I didnt read books in school - I read forums and thats it. ( Im not proud of it Im just not a reader ) Ive tried to read many of the other recommended books in the past for advanced tuning and such - and I wanted to take a second to say how much I have enjoyed reading this book. I will be giving feedback shortly, for the things I already knew it was nice to get that added feeling of "ok I know that, and Im doing it right". As well as just being easy to keep your attention ( which is usually a problem for me with books ) . A great tool, to say the least , and Im looking forward to seeing the changed book with all the additions.

Same here. Easy read, good info, learned some new things, got reinforcement about some things I was already doing right.

I'm also looking forward to the final product (with even more example tunes in it).

It'll be out in another few days. I'm currently finishing adding information for automatic trans tuning. After that, it'll be complete and we'll move on to the supporting website. The website will be up shortly which will feature new case studies each month along with other information relevant to anything and everything that is performance tuning. You guys will absolutely love it!

The Beta book covered mostly LS1 cars, but also had a chapter on mustangs. Anything that uses OBDII is probably going to be covered.
If the finished version improves on the Beta copy, it will be a BIG help to anyone wanting to learn to tune

Thanks for the support, guys! I have shipped out a small batch of the books (I'm picking them up as they become available from the printer) and should have more copies coming today. I've already scheduled a second print run due to the overwhelming response. For this, I thank all of you!

We're also currently building the complementary website that'll feature a new case study each month as well as other info and useful stuff, so everyone that buys a book will be able to stay up-to-date as we add more content. The website is subscription only (free with the book purchase).

I'll do my best to make sure you love the info and keep coming back to the website to learn more long after you've read the book!

Anyone who wants to order the book can order it on our website...

Thanks again!

Hey Dan - what about us that purchased/participated in the initial 'beta' copy - any timeframe as to when we'll see our regular copies?

Looking fwd to seeing more case studies soon.

I'll be contacting each of the beta testers shortly. You will be receiving your new books from this first print run in the same order as initial purchase order. You will hear from me soon either by pm or email.

Can I assume that the case studies will cover everything that was modified in the tune for the mods that were done?

The short easy answer is yes, but it goes deeper than that. In other words, if you're thinking "do this for such-and-such cam, and do that for the other cam", your perception of tuning needs tweeking. The book shows readers how to tune the engine using a common process, regardless of what cam or other mods may have been done. So, the case studies show how the vehicle was tuned (with all installed modifications) using the common tuning process.

Tuning is the process of optimizing the mechanical setup of the engine. It's an iterative, process-driven task that will ultimately result in the highest performance an engine is capable of achieving within it's mechanical constraints and limitations. Please make no mistake, though; learning how to tune EFI requires some study of the process as there are no quick easy answers. Remember, tuning is about OPTIMIZING! If you think about it in those terms, you'll be able to tune much quicker and far more effectively.
Cheers!
